Expansion of Our School Library to Start This Fall! Help Us Build an Updated Collection with a Book Donation!

We are slated for library expansion this fall due to a change in the construction schedule. Over the next three months, the library will be undergoing a renovation that will add 728 sq. ft. of area to the eastern side of our library. Help us get new books on the shelves!

What titles do we need? View wish lists on Amazon searching its wish lists tool by El Dorado Community School Library or look for links to our Amazon wish lists on this blog on different page sections. You will find lists for various areas in our collection. Choose from new titles compiled from current review literature or from titles requested by our students. Acquire a highly recommended title for your child from these lists and then donate it after reading!

If you use Amazon for other purchases or holiday shopping, please consider using our widget to search for an item. The widget will take you into Amazon, then from there login and place orders. A minimum of 4% of any sale shipped through Amazon will be automatically deposited into our library program fund through our participation in Amazon Associates!

Help the Dust Devils Prepare for Library Expansion with a Book Donation!

During this exciting year of construction at El Dorado Community School, we are preparing for library expansion to support our growing K-8 student population.  Help us build a current and robust collection for student research, and let's cultivate the pleasure of the text!

Rather than a having a traditional Book Fair this year, we are going digital and will be posting lists through this blog for our collection drive.  Check for updates and new requests!
